Hello, Pretty Pretty!

Are you interested in drag queen makeup? Whether you’re completely new to the idea (and just a bit curious) or a seasoned pro looking for new tricks to pump up your look, this is the right class for you!

I'm Kegel Kater, San Francisco drag performer, gender illusionist and makeup artist. I want to teach you how to bring out your most gorgeous drag face. In this class I will share with you the drag queen makeup techniques that I have mastered to help you create your own unique look.

* Some of the points that we will cover in this class are:
* Eyebrows (covering-up, drawing on, or working with what you got)
* Hiding stubble
* Contouring and highlights
* Lining the eyes
* Eyeshadow blending
* Applying false eyelashes
* How to get the perfect lip shape
* Applying sequins or jewels
* Options for sensitive skin
* Drag on a budget – products that don’t cost a lot, but go a long way.

Some of the product I will be using are:

* Silicone primer
* Scar/effects wax + Spirit gum (alternately, Elmer's glue stick can substitute for these two items)
* Eyeshadow (browns and blacks)
* Eyeliner/brow pencil (in the color you want your brows to be)
* TV paint/pan stick in a variety of shades: one color that matches your skin tone, one darker and one lighter
* White shimmer eyeshadow (optional)
* Bronzer (optional)
* Red matte lipstick (the cheap stuff)
* Eyeliner pencil
* Liquid eyeliner
* Eyeshadow: in a light shimmer color, medium and dark color
* lip liner (in a slightly darker color than your lipstick)
* False lashes
* Eyelash adhesive
* Glitter (optional)
* Wet-look lip gloss
* Microfine translucent powder (alternately, any translucent powder)

Unlike recorded videos, my drag queen makeup class allows you to see the way I transform myself live. And the best part is that you get to ask questions all along the way. Do you have trouble covering or shaping your brows? See how I do it and ask questions specific to your problem areas. Because it's live, you get answers right away.

You can even choose to share your camera and I'll help you in live, two-way video (don't worry, you can remain completely anonymous. You only share video or your name if you want to).

Learning and becoming an expert in drag queen makeup can be one of the most time consuming aspects of being a drag queen. Let this live class accelerate your skills. Feel free to ask questions as I apply my face and demonstrate these techniques and more.

Finally, my drag queen makeup class is not just a class, but a live gathering of people interested in drag queen makeup. Not only will you learn makeup, you will have a chance to talk to other drag queens and to hear their stories. I look forward to meeting you in this live drag queen makeup class!

Happy Glaming!

 Kate was great - so great to hear kate and others talk about what they're doing.  Good to be able to do this from home.
