I too have suffered reading through mounds of material.  My journey has been so extensive that my broker finally introduced me to Ameriprise Financial's V.P. of Training who then offer me a seat in their sponsorship class to secure my Series 7, 66, and insurance licenses!

While I started my job right before the 2008 market crash, the V.P. worked to save my employment with the company.  However, the senior advisor to whom I was reassigned was recruited by the corporation to come back and work for them shortly after I started.  After shutting down his franchise, Ameriprise again worked to reposition me with another senior advisor who sat on the President's Advisory Board!  After she confessed that she didn't bring in one new client during the entire calendar year of 2009, I thought, it was time for me to step down and take full control over my own career.

To me, Live Mind is an excellent platform for people to secure the information that they need to grow. I feel, I can facilitate your growth by offering 30-minute classes about finance and investing.  My agenda is to start with a "basic elements of investing" course and build upon the offerings to and include detailed and intense subject matter like trading options.

Public classes will be posted and private classes can be scheduled.

A copy of my Series 7 test score and insurance license will be made available upon request to students actually signed into my class.
